Collection of Personal Data

Jacobsen Kites ApS collects personal information through the site to process orders, issue invoices, and establish warranty contracts. The absence of this information results in the cancellation of the order.

By registering on the site, you agree to provide truthful and accurate information about yourself. Providing false information is contrary to these general conditions as well as to the terms of use listed on the site.

In the course of its business, the personal data that are collected on this site (or "Platform") include:

- Date of birth

- Name of the cardholder
- First 6 digits of the bank card

If you have agreed when signing in on the site, promotional emails offering new products, clearance offers, exclusives, and bargains will be sent to you.

Your personal data are recorded in our customer database and may be updated during subsequent contacts.

Your data are accessible to our management, Human Resources department, and sales department. They are transferred to our subcontractors only for hosting purposes and are not transferred to partners or clients without your authorization.

In the context of recruitment, personal data are collected by our applicant tracking system such as:

- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Date of birth
- City or region
- Profile photo

If your application is not successful after a first series of contacts, your application data will be retained for 2 years from the date of your application.

You can exercise your rights to correct and delete directly within your Member Area. You can also submit your requests at any time via the dedicated contact form or by contacting the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@jacobsenkites.com.

Use of Personal Data

The personal data collected from users are intended for the provision of the platform's services, their improvement, and the maintenance of a secure environment. They are retained for a period of five (5) years from the deletion of the account, or the last action performed on it, or the completion of the last purchase, except for a shorter retention period specified for certain data, especially cookies and bank data.

Evolution of This Clause

Jacobsen Kites ApS reserves the right to modify this privacy clause at any time. Any modifications will be posted on our website and communicated via email at least 15 days before taking effect. Users who disagree with the changes can choose to delete their account.

SCOPE OF THE GTC AND APPLICABLE LAW

Any order placed on the site implies acknowledgment and acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions (GTC). The GTC may be amended by Jacobsen Kites ApS at any time without prior notice.

Danish law is applicable to the contractual relationship between Jacobsen Kites ApS and the customer.
Any dispute arising from the contractual relationship falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
