Trade-in terms
Your trade-in value can only be used when purchasing a new kite from Jacobsen Kites. The discount code is personal and can only be used once.
Only one trade-in discount code can be used per new kite purchased.
You agree to send us your traded-in kite after submitting your request. The kite must match the information provided in the form.
If your traded-in kite is not returned within 30 days after using your discount code, Jacobsen Kites reserves the right to charge an amount equal to the kite’s trade-in value.
If the kite cannot fly, the kite value is €0. However, Jacobsen Kites still adds the Jacobsen bonus shown in the calculator.
Small scratches, cosmetic damage and normal wear are accepted, but the kite must not be unsafe, unusable, heavily damaged or misrepresented.
All traded-in kites are donated to support young talents in developing countries through our local partners.
Jacobsen Kites reserves the right to cancel or adjust the trade-in value if the submitted information is incorrect.
